100+ Women Who Care of Will County is designed to make an immediate and positive impact on the lives of our neighbors. We are women who support our communities by contributing to local charities together as a group. It's a unique way to multiply the impact of big hearts.
What We Do
At each of the quarterly meetings members nominate charities, three are chosen at random, and after a brief presentation, the members vote on which charity to support. Once the winning charity is announced, everyone writes a $100 check, on the spot directly to that charity. (Teams of 2 or 4 are welcome to join and share in the giving.)
That’s it! No event planning, no committees, no raffle prize solicitation, no telemarketing, no volunteering – just a group of charity-minded women working together to give back to our own community. We give 100% to the charity. (All charities nominated must be located in, and serve, Will County and must have 501(c)(3) non-profit status.)
Our Latest Donation to Northern Illinois Food Bank
100+ Women Who Care of Will County donated funds to bring 3 Mobile Pantry Distributions to Will County in partnership with Northern Illinois Food Bank. Mobile pantries are one way the Food Bank distributes food directly to neighbors in need, serving up to 150 households at a time. A Mobile Pantry is a “traveling food pantry” stocked with thousands of pounds of nutritious food including meat, milk, eggs, produce and shelf-stable items.
This group is perfect for you if:
• You believe in giving back and want 100% of your donation to go directly to a local charity.
• You've been wanting to help those in need, but are not sure how to fit it into your busy schedule.
• You want to become part of creating a powerful new group of women that will make an
immediate, direct and positive impact in Will County.
• You want to feel good!
