Welcome

100+ Women Who Care of Will County is designed to make an immediate and positive impact on the lives of our neighbors. We are women who support our communities by contributing to local charities together as a group. It's a unique way to multiply the impact of big hearts.

OUR DONATIONS

What We Do

At each of the quarterly meetings members nominate charities, three are chosen at random, and after a brief presentation, the members vote on which charity to support. Once the winning charity is announced, everyone writes a $100 check, on the spot directly to that charity. (Teams of 2 or 4 are welcome to join and share in the giving.)

That’s it! No event planning, no committees, no raffle prize solicitation, no telemarketing, no volunteering – just a group of charity-minded women working together to give back to our own community. We give 100% to the charity. (All charities nominated must be located in, and serve, Will County and must have 501(c)(3) non-profit status.)

Our Latest Donation to CASA of Will County

Our latest donation went to CASA of Will County. CASA acts as the child’s voice in court, helping to navigate the confusing maze of the juvenile court system and making sure that the child’s needs are being met. Their mission is to draw from community resources to provide well-trained volunteers who will advocate for abused and neglected children, provide needed information to the court, help develop a more effective juvenile court process, and increase community awareness and reporting of child abuse and neglect.
