Welcome

100+ Women Who Care of Will County is designed to make an immediate and positive impact on the lives of our neighbors. We are women who support our communities by contributing to local charities together as a group. It's a unique way to multiply the impact of big hearts.

OUR DONATIONS

What We Do

At each of the quarterly meetings members nominate charities, three are chosen at random, and after a brief presentation, the members vote on which charity to support. Once the winning charity is announced, everyone writes a $100 check, on the spot directly to that charity. (Teams of 2 or 4 are welcome to join and share in the giving.)

That’s it! No event planning, no committees, no raffle prize solicitation, no telemarketing, no volunteering – just a group of charity-minded women working together to give back to our own community. We give 100% to the charity. (All charities nominated must be located in, and serve, Will County and must have 501(c)(3) non-profit status.)

Our Latest Donation to the Taft Foundation

On March 12, 2024 members of 100+ Women Who Care serving Will County had their “big check” presentation donating $7,200 to the Taft Foundation. Taft Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds to support educational programs, activities, technology and programming for the students at Taft Grade School District 90 in Lockport, IL. The geographic boundary limits of the school are roughly 1-1.25 square miles, which limit the funds and financial support coming into the school from local businesses and corporations.
